It is a fantastic initiative. In fact, I was asking Apoorva if it is possible to get a copy of the videos shot during the Emvie presentations this year and, much to my delight, she commented that actually the coverage for last few years is already ready and waiting to be distributed at the end of the function. There was a remarkable improvement in the standard of case study presentations this year and I am proud of the new confident breed of media professionals that not only have a grasp on all aspects of media but are also able to put it across most interestingly and convincingly. Way to go!

It's a great compilation of case studies, a treasure trove of media knowledge that every media professional and student would love to own. This becomes a ready reference in the digital format. It has captured it all, the presentations, the speakers, the winners and the shortlists, in a very interesting manner.
I am sure that all of us will find it very useful. And perhaps it can become a revenue earner for the ad club with it being marketed across individuals, institutions, bookstores.

AdClub always play an important role in our lives by organising Oscar like Emvies. This year they have completely surprised us with the DVD collections of winning entries. I think this suprise gift will be a life time memento for any media professional. I am sure it will make everyone wait for 2009 Emvies and the next collection of winning entries of this year. Way to go!

Representation of award winning case studies complied by the Ad Club in the DVD format was an outstanding initiative by the Ad Club. One draws inspiration from well packaged and presented case studies and the drive to excel the standard set is a challenge for the media fraternity. Compliation of such DVD's should be a constant endeavour by the AdClub as it aids the young bright minds to see how path breaking work gets showcased.

I think it's a good initiative. It gives us a chance to review the presentations in a more relaxed environment. It's a good learning platform for new entrants into the industry to learn creativity and strategy in media.
The CD that was released at the Emvies this year is an extremely useful tool for learning in future. Unlike creative, there is very little study material on media available especially case studies unique to Indian context. However, since media solutions are all about recency, it would have been more useful if the 2008 case studies were also included.
